Soprano Helga Van Campenhout studied at the conservatory of Mons and obtained several diplomas such as the Master Degree in opera.
She was soloist at the Opera Studio 'De Munt' in Brussels and appeared on stages in Germany and Paris. She performed as the first lady of the Queen of the Night in Mozart's 'Zauberflöte' and shined as Belinda in the opera 'Dido and Aeneas' of H. Purcell. She played Fiordiligi in the opera 'Cosi fan tutte' with opera company 'Idée Fixe' in 2007 and you could see her as Donna Elvira in 'Don Giovanni' in 'Théâtre Poème' in Brussels.
Apart from opera, Helga Van Campenhout sings a lot of concerts and 'soirées'.
She also works regulary with contemporary composers. She toured in Flanders with many theater productions created by Chris Carlier: 'Eligie van het Wezenkind', 'Bela's Bestiarium', 'de Hondsdagen', 'Krsk', and 'Spoon River'. Filmcomposer Johan Hoogewijs created beautiful music in order of 'Cultuurfonds De Noordrand' for trio Modus Vivendi, in which she took part.
