Ensemble Eyas is the result of a long collaboration of five musicians with a passion for vocal quartet with piano, a form combining the intimacy of art songs with the complexity of polyphony.

Whilst embracing the standard repertoire, Ensemble Eyas also explores living and lesser known composers. This results in a repertoire ranging from the 19th to the 21st century encompassing the traditional and the avant garde, the romantic and the humorous, the lyrical and the dramatic.

Conscious of the importance of the visual aspect of staging a concert, Ensemble Eyas works with stage directors Genevieve Damas and Daniel Donies, to achieve a particular connection with its audience.
